The Kirby vacuum cleaner does a yeoman job when it comes to cleaning. One of the demonstration techniques they use is to pour something on your carpet and use your vacuum to pick it up. They then fasten a net or stocking where the bag on the Kirby would attach and use that to demonstrate how much more powerful the Kirby vacuum cleaner is. We still have our fist one and we bought it in 1967.
